Schrader Byrd & Companion, PLLC was founded on October 1, 1925 and is one of Wheeling's oldest and largest law firms. We are a well-established general practice firm providing the highest quality of legal services. For over 75 years, the firm has remained committed to its reputation for excellence. We have now grown to nine PLLC members, one associate, five attorneys of counsel, and six paralegals including two nurse consultants.

Because of Wheeling's location on the Ohio River in West Virginia's northern panhandle, our practice has become increasingly regional. The firm represents a number of corporations, individuals, and families throughout West Virginia, concentrating mainly in the northern half of the state. Hancock, Brooke, Ohio, Marshall and Wetzel Counties of West Virginia and the counties of Eastern Ohio comprise a substantial portion of our practice area, and the same is true for Western Pennsylvania.
