The year 1960 was important to the firm as Senior Partner, James R. Beattie, began the practice of law and simultaneously met his friend and future founding partner, Ralph J. Padovano, when both joined the New Jersey National Guard. Ten years later, after completing law school and being admitted to the New Jersey Bar, Mr. Padovano joined Mr. Beattie to form the nucleus of the present firm.
